Behind the Brand

Delta P, the symbol for impulse in physics—representing a change in momentum—embodies the interplay of time and force. This concept lies at the heart of our practice.

At Studio Delta P, we focus on the creation of jewelry and sculptural pieces as the culminating expressions of each collection. To us, the human body is the most alive and intimate context—a personal landscape inhabited from birth, shaped continuously by time and layered with history.

Our work centers on experimental pieces that explore evolving relationships between object and body—sculptural forms that move with the skin, respond to its contours, and engage in a tactile, sensory dialogue. We draw inspiration from both natural and built environments, as well as from the layered histories embedded in objects—the transformations they undergo to arrive at a particular form in a specific moment.

Our design process is grounded in extensive formal exploration, conveyed through a synthesis of drawing, photography, and sculptural study.

WoodSkin Collection

The Woodskin collection is inspired by the naturally peeling layers of tree trunks—left undisturbed as they settle into their final forms. These shapes emerge through multi-phase interactions between the wood’s boundary layers and both internal and external forces, resulting in twisted, stretched, and bent surfaces with distinctive character. This process mirrors the relationship between nature’s transformation and the human body—a living, breathing context.

In this surreal landscape, the sculptural pieces inspired by woodskin find new meaning. They blur the boundary between object and body, becoming wearable extensions of nature’s evolving form. The delicate, expressive nature of these woodskins led to a deeper exploration through sketching and modeling, allowing for a more intimate appreciation of the uniqueness in nature’s transformations.
